Biography

Dr. Allain's clinical and research interests focus on the timely identification of developmental delays and disabilities in young children, gender differences in autism spectrum disorder presentation, and parental stress among parents with children born preterm. She provides psychological evaluation and therapy services to patients at South Central Louisiana Health Services Authority. In addition, Dr. Allain provides psychological evaluations to children with Spanish-speaking families at the Tulane Center for Autism and Related Disorders, and consultation services to educational staff within the Jefferson Parish Community Action Program.
