About: Casimir emigrated from the Siberian tundra known as Chicago to the magical wonderland of New Orleans and has loved every minute of it. Before medical training, he was a Peace Corps Volunteer in Ghana for three years and will happily tell you about all the bugs he ate. He also enjoys biking, gardening, and fixing things.

What I like about Tulane/New Orleans: Casimir has found New Orleans allows him to practice Medicine and Psychiatry the way he wants, with a fun, unique, underserved and challenging population.

Professional Interests: Casimir has professional interests in indigenous interpretations and approaches to mental health, the mind/body connection especially as related to the heart, the philosophy of perception, delirium, psychosis and performance psychiatry.
