Casimir emigrated from the Siberian tundra known as Chicago to the magical wonderland of New Orleans and has loved every minute of it. He has found New Orleans allows him to practice Medicine and Psychiatry the way he wants, with a fun, unique, underserved and challenging population. Before medical training, he was a Peace Corps Volunteer in Ghana for three years and will happily tell you about all the bugs he ate. He also enjoys biking, gardening, and fixing things. Casimir has professional interests in indigenous interpretations and approaches to mental health, the mind/body connection especially as related to the heart, the philosophy of perception, delirium, psychosis and performance psychiatry.
