About: Neel lived in New England until he graduated college and decided he wanted to see snowless winters. He moved to Dallas where he taught astronomy for 3 years. With 10 weeks off every summer he took a liking to road tripping around the country, visiting the beautiful parks that America has to offer. Apart from a visit to a national park, nothing will get Neel more excited than playing board games with his friends. 

Why I love Tulane/New Orleans: Neel found that the Med/Psych program at Tulane was filled with people who shared a passion for equitable outcomes in healthcare. He could not turn down the opportunity to train in a city with the rich culture and diversity of New Orleans.

Professional Interests: Neel is interested in integrated primary care for underserved communities and patients with comorbid medical and psychiatric conditions.
