Dr. Brown received his medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine where he also completed his residency in general surgery. Following his general surgery residency, Dr. Brown was Chief of Surgery for the United States Public Health Service at the Indian Service Hospital in Ship Rock, New Mexico. Dr. Brown is certified by the American Board of Surgery. He is a Clinical Professor of Surgery at Tulane University School of Medicine. Dr. Brown actively practices general surgery at Tulane Medical Center and Tulane-Lakeside Hospital. He is a member of the American College of Surgeons. In addition, he is a member of several local and regional organizations, including the Louisiana Surgical Society, Louisiana State Medical Society, New Orleans Surgical Society, Orleans Parish Medical Society and Tulane Surgical Society.
