Biography
Advanced robotic technology is a trademark for urologist Dr. Ryan Glass. After completing his medical degree and urology residency training at Tulane University Medical School, Dr. Glass joined Jefferson Urology Specialists in 2006. He now specializes in the minimally invasive treatment of both malignant and benign urologic conditions, with a particular interest in prostate and kidney cancer, kidney stone disease, BPH, and enlarged prostate.
In addition, Dr. Glass has extensively trained in da Vinci robotic-assisted surgeries, with over 15 years of experience in this medically advanced technology and technique. One area of his robotic specialty is treating men with an enlarged prostate by performing a procedure known as UroLift. Due to his expertise in this area, the medical practice of Dr. Glass is recognized as a Center of Excellence for UroLift.
