Biography
Dr. Jacey Jones joined the Section of General Internal Medicine as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine in 2017. She is currently an academic hospitalist at Tulane Medical Center. Her academic interests include resident education, hospital medicine, and cultural contexts in medicine.
Dr. Jones was born and bred in New Orleans and calls Dominican High School her alma mater. She obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology at Emory University in Atlanta, GA. She went on to pursue her medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX. She finally returned home to complete an Internal Medicine residency at Tulane University School of Medicine, where she also served as Chief Resident.
