Julie Taggart, DO

Dr. Taggart is board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She completed her residency training at Tulane University and has extensive experience in both private and hospital-based clinical practice. Dr. Taggart currently holds the position of Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Tulane University. She is a Certified Menopause Practitioner through The Menopause Society and holds a Practice Designation in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery (MIGS). In her role at the VA, Dr. Taggart supervises residents in the comprehensive evaluation and management of benign gynecologic conditions, with an emphasis on minimally invasive surgical techniques.
