Med/Psych is a five-year residency program in which residents complete half of their time (30 months) on Psychiatry and half (30 months) on Internal Medicine. On average, residents will spend six months in one field then rotate to the other field for six months, with a few exceptions. Residents will complete 12 months of consecutive psychotherapy during part of their fourth and fifth years. The below is a sample five-year schedule.
