Biography

Dr. Daniel Garrett received his medical degree at the University of Texas at Houston McGovern School of Medicine, graduating in 2003. He completed residency training in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at Tulane University School of Medicine in 2007. Recently, he served as the Medical Director of Tulane Campus Health and Tulane Emergency Medical Service, before transitioning to the Hematology/Oncology Section within the Deming Department of Medicine. Dr. Garrett joins the Louisiana Center for Bleeding and Clotting Disorders (LCBCD) to provide primary care services to the patient population. He has also been assigned the role of Director of Health Initiatives in the LCBCD, to help further the effort to improve patient access to routine preventative care.
