Dwana Smothers, BS

Dwana Smothers is a proud New Orleans native and a dedicated healthcare professional, currently pursuing her Master’s degree at Tulane University. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Health Science from Nicholls State University and has been part of the Tulane community for over four years, transitioning from a clinical setting to the School of Medicine.

Dwana’s passion for helping others drives her career, and she always finds a way to make a positive impact. Outside of work and school, Dwana enjoys exploring new attractions with her son and daughter and is known for her love of dancing with family and friends throughout the city she calls home. A devoted Saints fan, Dwana also treasures the excitement of Mardi Gras season.
