Why are you pursuing a career in ENT?
Otolaryngology offers a unique opportunity to impact patients' lives in meaningful ways. As an ENT you manage some of the most intimate aspects of human life from improving someone's facial appearance & how they express themselves to the outside world to improving a patient's hearing, breathing, speech, or even singing! I enjoy the wide variety the field offers including the pathology you encounter (seemingly "simple" tubes and tonsils to complex head and neck cancers requiring reconstruction) and the variety of patients (congenital airway disease to presbycusis).

Favorite things to do in New Orleans?
Attend local festivals (French Quarter Fest & Oak Street Po-boy Fest are some favorites), enjoy sunshine outdoors at the various parks, visit new restaurants/pop-ups/happy hours.
