Biography
Dr. Janifer Tropez-Martin, a native of New Orleans, received her undergraduate degree from Xavier University and medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine. She completed her residency at Washington Hospital Center in Washington DC in 2008. After completion of her residency, she returned to New Orleans as an Assistant Clinical Professor at Tulane University School of Medicine. During her 8 years at Tulane, she served as the Clerkship Director for the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She relocated to Washington DC in 2016 and after 7 years, returned to New Orleans and Tulane University School of Medicine.
Dr. Tropez-Martin's practice is rooted in a culture of inclusivity, empathy, and respect. She strives to overcome women's healthcare obstacles by educating adolescents, addressing complex gynecological issues, and reassuring expectant mothers.
