Biography
Dr. Ashley Kreher is a recent graduate of the Jackson Memorial Hospital - University of Miami Family Medicine Residency Program and the University of Arizona Residential Integrative Medicine Fellowship. Her background is in both Exercise Science and Food and Nutrition Science in which she was awarded a Dual Degree with minors in both Chemistry and Biology with Honors Medallion recognition as a member of the Honors Medical Scholars Society at the Florida State University. She completed her Medical Doctorate at the Florida State University, during which she grew within her true passion for integrative care through involvement and leadership in her medical school, community, and nationally, integrating health and wellbeing initiatives within communities with a focus in underserved care. While in medical school she was recognized for her passions as a recipient of the 2018 Trainee Tobacco Champion Award Honorable Mention through The AAP Section on Tobacco Control Executive Committee and was privileged to present at the AAFP National Conference under the breakout session of "Best Practices for Family Medicine Interest Groups." She further received recognition for her compassionate and comprehensive care upon graduation as a recipient of the Stephen M. Nobles, M.D. and Robert L. Brown Sr., M.D. Altruism in Medicine Award which was followed with similar recognition in residency through receiving the Behavioral Medicine Award.
Her interests are in Integrative Medicine, Preventative Medicine, Lifestyle Medicine, Pediatrics, Adolescent Health, Women's Health, Care to the Underserved, Mental Health, Integrative Oncology and Supportive Care, Global Health, Health Advocacy, Physician Wellbeing, Mentorship and Teaching.
