Biography
Dr. Daniel Miles is an Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery who specializes in trauma and is board-eligible by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. Dr. Miles is native to south Mississippi and completed his undergraduate degree in Biochemistry at the University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg. He obtained his medical degree from the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, MS. He then relocated to Chattanooga, TN, for his residency training at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center – Chattanooga and then moved to Jersey City, New Jersey, to pursue subspecialty training in Orthopaedic Traumatology and Complex Joint Reconstruction.
He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Orthopaedic Trauma Association, AO Trauma, American College of Surgeons, and the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons.
Dr. Miles specializes in treating simple and complex fractures throughout the body, including periarticular fractures of the extremities, pelvis/acetabulum fractures, periprosthetic fractures, and nonunions and malunions. He sees patients at Lakeview Hospital and University Medical Center of New Orleans.
