Biography
James Zanewicz, JD, LLM, RTTP (Tulane Law '95), has over 20 years of leadership experience across biotech, healthcare, AI, higher education, and academic medicine. He specializes in building and growing initiatives, developing operational strategies, and fostering strategic alliances. His career spans local to global efforts, emphasizing collaboration, innovation, marketing, and communications. After roles at Howard Hughes Medical Institute, Rhône-Poulenc Rorer, EXTRA, the University of Illinois, and the University of Louisville, he returned to Tulane in 2015. As Chief Strategy Officer, Zanewicz leads biotech business development, marketing, and crisis management while working on special projects. He serves on several boards, including AAIH and BIO, contributing to knowledge transfer and industry partnerships.
