Biography
Amita Bhattarai, M.S., is a Medical Research Specialist at the CTC Core Laboratory. She earned her Master of Science in Biology from the University of New Orleans and a Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology from Moscow Technological University. At the CTC Core Laboratory, she specializes in managing biospecimens for high-profile clinical trials, performing PBMC isolations, conducting molecular and immunoassay testing, and overseeing data management. Amita also serves as the primary liaison between the lab, contract research organizations, and sponsors.
Her current research focuses on the clinically relevant use of extracellular vesicles from various brain origins for the early detection of Alzheimer’s disease. Amita's background includes extensive training in molecular biology, with an emphasis on translational research and genetics.
