Biography
I am a first-generation Vietnamese-American with a dual identity with Metairie (and NOLA) and Houston: I was born in Louisiana until Hurricane Katrina, after which I lived in Houston until undergraduate, when I received the Stamps Scholarship from Tulane University.
Hobby-wise: Writing, Worldbuilding, Wikipedia trawling, Fishkeeping, and recently Dioramas & Model Railroading.
Career-wise: Autism Studies, ACEs Outcomes, Resourcefulness and Patient Advocacy in Resource-Limited Environments.
Some Two Cents on NOLA:
- The community here is superb, and I enjoy the atmosphere the program and institution foster.
- Beware of potholes, especially those so bad that people put traffic cones to mark them and despite this the pothole swallows the cone.
- We have cool wildlife here, like Mexican Sailfin Mollies and Laughing Gulls.
- There is a good range of stuff for both introverts and extroverts in the city!
