Biography

I am a first-generation Vietnamese-American with a dual identity with Metairie (and NOLA) and Houston: I was born in Louisiana until Hurricane Katrina, after which I lived in Houston until undergraduate, when I received the Stamps Scholarship from Tulane University.

Hobby-wise: Writing, Worldbuilding, Wikipedia trawling, Fishkeeping, and recently Dioramas & Model Railroading.

Career-wise: Autism Studies, ACEs Outcomes, Resourcefulness and Patient Advocacy in Resource-Limited Environments.

Some Two Cents on NOLA:

  1. The community here is superb, and I enjoy the atmosphere the program and institution foster.
  2. Beware of potholes, especially those so bad that people put traffic cones to mark them and despite this the pothole swallows the cone.
  3. We have cool wildlife here, like Mexican Sailfin Mollies and Laughing Gulls.
  4. There is a good range of stuff for both introverts and extroverts in the city!
