Nur Barlas, MD

Dr. Nur Barlas has joined Tulane’s Section of General Internal Medicine as an Instructor of Medicine and Hospitalist. She grew up in Panama City, Florida, and earned her medical degree from Koç University in Istanbul, Turkey. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at the Florida State University College of Medicine in Cape Coral, Florida. Dr. Barlas has a strong interest in resident education and quality improvement. She is excited to begin the next chapter of her career in New Orleans and is committed to providing compassionate, high-quality care to the local community.
