Colombian with a Bachelor's degree in Biological Engineering, a Master's degree in Biomedical Sciences, and certificate programs in Data Analysis, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence.

Research

Integrating Omics Risk Scores and Clinical Variables for BMD Prediction: Ensemble Machine Learning and SHAP-based Interpretability.

  • Multi-omics risk score estimation for chronic diseases in large cohort studies.
  • Identification and validation of biomarkers in cancer.
  • GWAS and Polygenic Risk Score analysis.
  • HPC computing.
  • SSH, Python, and R programming.
  • Molecular techniques.

Interests

Integrative multi-omics analysis, supported by statistics, bioinformatics, and the new era of AI for the prediction of complex human diseases, with a focus on translating and implementing this knowledge into real-world scenarios.
