Trevor Simon

Trevor Simon brings experience in higher education administration, research operations, and financial management. He joined Tulane University after working as a band director in Louisiana public schools, where he taught Pre-K through 12^th grade. Through his teaching, he developed strong communication and organizational skills that continue to inform his administrative work.

At Tulane, Trevor has supported multiple academic and research units, including the Department of Microbiology and Immunology, where he assisted in managing faculty accounts and coordinating departmental operations. He later joined RASU - Uptown, overseeing a portfolio of funds, developing training resources for staff, and collaborating with faculty to ensure federal research compliance and effective financial project management. He is currently pursuing his MBA at the Tulane A.B. Freeman School of Business with concentrations in Business Analytics and Strategic Management & Innovation. Trevor now serves as Section Administrator III, supporting strategic initiatives, financial oversight, and operations. He looks forward to continuing his dedication to research and education.

Outside of work, Trevor serves as an instructor with Drum Corps International, mentoring and coaching young performers. He also enjoys staying active and appreciating art in his spare time. He is excited to contribute his experience and continue to grow with Tulane.
