Biography

Dr. Sahai received his MD from Tulane University School of Medicine and completed his post-graduate training in internal medicine, cardiology, and interventional cardiology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX. He subsequently completed an advanced coronary and endovascular interventional fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania/Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Sahai is board certified in internal medicine, general cardiology, interventional cardiology, endovascular medicine, echocardiography, and vascular imaging. He is also a fellow of the American College of Cardiology.

Dr. Sahai is a board certified interventional cardiologist serving as an assistant professor of cardiology and medicine at Tulane University and affiliated hospitals. With advanced training in coronary and endovascular intervention, Dr. Sahai treats patients with coronary and peripheral artery disease. He has a special interest in acute coronary syndromes, stable ischemic heart disease, as well as peripheral vascular disease. Dr. Sahai spends his clinical time working at Tulane Medical Center, University Medical Center, and the Veterans Affairs Hospital in New Orleans. He additionally dedicates his time to the education of Tulane University medical students, medicine residents, and cardiology fellows.
