Christopher Van Hise, MD

Dr. Christopher Van Hise is a board-certified Family Medicine physician. He practices comprehensive primary care, treating acute and chronic conditions. His interests include medical education, health policy & advocacy, and investigating healthcare disparities. 

Dr. Van Hise serves on the Board of Directors and Legislative & Advocacy Committee of the Louisiana Academy of Family Physicians as well as the Commission for Federal and State Policy for the American Academy of Family Physicians. At Tulane he advises the Family Medicine Interest Group and co-manages the Family Medicine curriculum as the Assistant Clerkship Director.

Dr. Van Hise is from New York but is proud to have called New Orleans home since 2018. He earned his medical degree and from the University of Queensland School of Medicine. He completed his residency in Family Medicine at East Jefferson General Hospital.
