Why Tulane Hem/Onc: the distinguished malignant hematology department made choosing to pursue my clinical training and research at Tulane an easy decision. In addition, the nationally renowned benign hematology and medical oncology staff at Tulane are very committed to education and polishing decision-making skills. I look forward to returning to Tulane as a junior faculty after my bone marrow transplant fellowship. Besides this, New Orleans is a lively city, with almost daily festivals, and has a good stretch of the Levee trail, which is my go-to route for cycling.
