Biography
Dr. Damm was educated at Harvard College (AB, Physics), The College of Physicians and Surgeons of Columbia University (MD), and the Wharton school of the Univrsity of Pennsylvania (MBA, Finance). He received post-graduate training at Mount Sinai Hospital in the City of New York (Internal Medicine) and the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania (Cardiovascular Disease). He has held faculty positions at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, The Wharton School, and Drexel University College of Medicine.
In treating patients, Dr. Damm emphasizes clear communication and teamwork, aspiring to provide compassionate care that embodies the highest standards of clinical practice. His clinical practice emphasizes hospital cardiology and critical care cardiology, with a special interest in the treatment of cardiogenic shock.
His non-clinical activities have focused on innovation, entrepreneurship, and commercialization of emerging medical technology.
