Biography
William “Zach” Rowalt is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. He joined the faculty of the Tulane University School of Medicine, Section of Cardiology as an Instructor of Medicine in June of 2022. He obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from The University of Mississippi in 2006. He became a Registered Nurse (RN) in 2015 after graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Southeastern Louisiana University’s accelerated program. He worked in the Level 1 trauma center at University Medical Center of New Orleans for 6 1/2 years, gaining experience in emergency medicine and critical care. After years of nursing at the bedside, he attended The University of Alabama at Birmingham and obtained his Master of Science in Nursing (MSN).
