Biography

Dr. Anthony Marsh is the Chief of Ambulatory Medicine at SLVHSC where he oversees a large network of primary care clinics for Veterans in Southeastern Louisiana. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Section of General Internal Medicine and an Associate Program Director for the Internal Medicine residency program, and the Director of the program’s Primary Care Track. Originally from Lincoln, Nebraska, he did his undergraduate degree at Macalester College in Minnesota and received his medical degree from the University of Nebraska. He is interested in graduate medical education curriculum development, studying the social and community determinants of health, and teaching on the wards.
