Biography
Dr. Erica Tate joined the Section of General Internal Medicine at Tulane University as an Instructor of Medicine in 2017 and is currently an Assistant Professor of Medicine and an Associate Program Director for the Internal Medicine Residency Program.
Originally from California, she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology at the University of California-Riverside in 2009. She then completed her medical degree at University of California-Los Angeles in 2013. After medical school, she joined the UCLA-Olive View Internal Medicine Program in 2013 and completed her internal medicine residency. She was selected to be a Chief Resident for 2016-2017 and served as a clinical Instructor of Medicine until June 2017. She is board certified in Internal Medicine.
Dr. Tate’s practice is located at the UMCNO Ambulatory Clinic where she sees adult patients and supervises internal medicine residents.
