Biography
Dr. Robert A. Miller joined the Section of General Internal Medicine in 2016 and is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine and an academic hospitalist at the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Healthcare Administration. He is an Associate Program Director for the Tulane Internal Medicine residency program, clinical site director at SLVHSC and leads the Resident Education Committee. His interests include maintaining quality learning environments, personal and professional development of residents, and teaching on the wards.
Dr. Miller was born and raised in Jackson, Mississippi and received a Bachelor of Arts in Physics and English from the University of Mississippi in Oxford, MS. He moved to New Orleans to begin his medical education at Tulane University School of Medicine. After remaining for residency training with the Tulane Internal Medicine program, Dr. Miller served as a Chief Resident.
