Spencer Hart, MD

Dr. Spencer Hart is an academic hospitalist for the Southeastern Louisiana Veterans Affairs Health Care System (SLVHCS).  He was born and raised in New Orleans, LA.  He received his Bachelor of Science in Biology at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge.  He completed both medical school and Internal Medicine residency at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans.  He spent a year as a hospitalist at University Medical Center New Orleans and joined the Section of General Internal Medicine at Tulane as an Adjunct Instructor in 2022.  His interests include medical education, quality improvement, ultrasonography, and cardiology.
