Dr. Arley Jaramillo was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico and lived in Medellin, Colombia for 10 years during his adolescence. Dr. Jaramillo is a fellowship trained ophthalmologist with expertise in vitreo-retinal disease and surgery. He completed his medical training at the Ponce School of Medicine (Ponce, PR). His residency was completed at Tulane University were he was the Chief Resident. He trained as a vitreo-retinal surgeon at Tulane University and the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Health Care System. Board certified in ophthalmology,  Dr. Jaramillo has extensive experience in macular hole repair, retinal detachment repair and membrane removals.
