After extensive training in New York City and Cleveland, Ohio, Dr. Paul Gladden brings his expertise in Orthopaedic Trauma to New Orleans. He is a graduate of Brown University and Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. He did his residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine at Yeshiva University. His fellowship in Orthopaedic Trauma was at the MetroHealth Medical Center affiliated with Case Western Reserve University where he also served as a Metro Life Flight physician. He is Board Certified in Orthopaedic Surgery and a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. Most recently he was Chief of Orthopaedic Trauma surgery at the University of Florida, Jacksonville. In Jacksonville, he also graduated from the police academy and served as a physician for the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office S.W.A.T. team. Dr. Gladden has published and lectured extensively in the field of Orthopaedic Trauma. Dr. Gladden treats all fractures specializing in complex fractures to include Pelvis and Acetabular injuries.
Following a successful 10-year run of leading the Orthopaedics Residency program at Tulane, Dr. Gladden was promoted to DIO and Associate Dean for GME Director. He will continue his role of Associate Professor of Orthopaedics.
