Biography
Solomon Alhassan is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Oncology with the Department of Surgery at Tulane University School of Medicine.
Dr. Alhassan received his PhD in Cell and Molecular Biology studying endocrine disruption and small regulatory RNAs in exosomes in teleosts. His research interests are in the applying the tools of molecular and computational biology in developing novel biomarkers and molecules for minimally invasive diagnosis and management of cancers. He is also experienced and interested in translating basic science research to public health policy.
