
Biography
Brian Eisner, MD, is a nationally recognized expert in endourology and kidney stone disease. He joins Tulane University School of Medicine as Chair of Urology, bringing extensive experience as a surgeon, educator, and leader. Previously, Dr. Eisner served as Director of the Kidney Stone Program at Massachusetts General Hospital and led the Division of Urology at Newton-Wellesley Hospital.
He earned his medical degree with research honors from the University of Michigan and completed his residency in urology at Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School, followed by a fellowship in endourology and stone disease at the University of California, San Francisco. Widely sought after as a speaker, he has delivered more than 170 invited lectures and presentations worldwide and has received numerous awards for teaching and research.
