Dr. Marc Zucker is an Anesthesiology resident at Tulane University School of Medicine. Originally from Fort Myers, Florida, he earned his undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University before completing a Master of Science in Pharmacology at Tulane University School of Medicine and receiving his medical degree from LSU School of Medicine. Throughout residency, Dr. Zucker has focused on becoming a well-rounded anesthesiologist by strengthening his clinical knowledge, technical skills, and decision-making abilities. He is committed to providing exceptional patient care while continuing to grow as a physician, educator, and teammate. He values the opportunity to learn from experienced faculty and collaborate with fellow residents in a supportive academic environment that encourages both professional and personal growth.

Dr. Zucker chose Tulane because of the people. During the interview process, he was impressed by the approachable, supportive, and clinically outstanding residents and faculty, recognizing that they were the kind of colleagues he could trust in challenging situations and enjoy working alongside every day. That welcoming culture, combined with outstanding clinical training, made Tulane the clear choice for residency.

Since moving to New Orleans in 2015, Dr. Zucker has embraced the city as home. He especially enjoys its incredible food, vibrant culture, live music, festivals, and the strong sense of community that makes New Orleans unlike anywhere else. Outside of medicine, he enjoys traveling with his wife, trying new restaurants, playing pickleball, following LSU Tigers and New Orleans Saints athletics, and exploring entrepreneurship and business. Dr. Zucker looks forward to continuing his training at Tulane while preparing for a career dedicated to compassionate, high-quality anesthesiology care.
