Carter Baughman, MD

Dr. Carter Baughman has joined Tulane’s Section of General Internal Medicine as an Assistant Professor of Medicine and Primary Care Specialist. Originally from Kentucky, she earned her medical degree from the University of Kentucky and completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, where she was part of the Primary Care Track and later served as a Chief Medical Resident. Dr. Baughman is passionate about primary care and medical education and is excited to begin her faculty career as a primary care physician.
