Joseph Swisher, MD

Dr. Joseph A. Swisher, MD was born and raised in Charleston, South Carolina. He received a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science at the University of South Carolina and his medical degree at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine. He moved to New Orleans in 2019 to complete residency at Tulane and was awarded Resident of the Year in his final year.

Dr. Swisher is thrilled to be staying in New Orleans and in his free time loves exploring the city with his dogs and wood working.

Dr. Swisher's clinical interests are medical education, point of care ultrasound, quality improvement, and community outreach.
