Biography
Dr. Satovsky joined the Section of General Medicine as an Instructor of Clinical Medicine in 2016. He is an academic hospitalist for the Veterans Health Administration service. His academic interests include medical student education, clinical examination, point-of-care ultrasound, value-based medicine, and medical ethics.
Dr. Satovsky was born and raised in metropolitan Detroit. He completed his pre-medical curriculum and Bachelor of General Studies at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He moved to New Orleans to pursue his medical degree at Tulane University School of Medicine. He then completed his Internal Medicine residency at Tulane.
