Dr. "Ron" Clisham is the John Rock Professor of Reproductive Physiology in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Tulane University School of Medicine. He has board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology and is subspecialty certified in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Clisham returned to New Orleans after completing his training and has served on the faculty in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Tulane University School of Medicine in the role of Section Chief in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, holding the academic rank of full professor. He has a role in both teaching and research in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Clisham’s clinical interests include advanced laparoscopy, endometriosis, menopause, and uterine fibroids. His research interests include the study of mycoplasma in tubal infertility, andrology and osteoporosis. Dr. Clisham was named one of “New Orleans Top Fertility Doctors” in NOLA Baby Magazine’s Readers Survey, 2008. He also received a “Top Reproductive Endocrinologist” designation by U.S. News & World Report, 2012
