Roxanne Daban, MD

Dr. Daban is originally from the Philippines but moved the Metro Detroit area when she was 10 years old. She attended the University of Michigan and earned a degree in Health Sciences. After her undergraduate studies, she attended Case Western Reserve University & Tulane University School of Medicine where she earned a Master of Science in Physiology and a Master of Science in Bioethics and Medical Humanities. Then completed medical school at Tulane University School of Medicine. 

Dr. Daban’s interests outside of work include dancing, diamond painting, reading & listening to audiobooks, going on walks with her cat, Jiro, is his stroller, and movie nights with her fiancé and friends. 

Why Tulane? The residents and faculty care deeply about the population they serve. I wanted to be a part of a team who shared the same goal of helping underserved populations. Also, I appreciate the supportive culture at Tulane.
