Dr. Murphy “Trey” Martin is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Orthopaedic Surgery. He is board-certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and is a specialist in the management of fractures. Dr. Martin is a Louisiana native, obtaining his medical degree from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. After internship and residency here at Tulane University, he went on to pursue subspecialty training as a fellow in Orthopaedic Traumatology at Denver Health Medical Center in Colorado.
His expertise involves the treatment of simple and complex fractures, including nonunions and malunions, periarticular fractures of the extremities, and pelvic and acetabular reconstruction. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Orthopaedic Trauma Association, and a faculty member of the AO Trauma Foundation of North America.
His practice is based out of University Medical Center of New Orleans, Tulane Medical Center and Tulane-Lakeside Hospital.
