Carlos A. Lopez, MD

Carlos A. Lopez, originally from Monterrey, NL, Mexico, attended medical school and graduated from UANL, where developed an interest in pathology. In his personal time, Carlos enjoys jogging, practicing mindfulness, and plants. His favorite restaurant in New Orleans is Budsi’s.

Before joining Tulane, he was doing research in Houston, Boston and his hometown. Carlos chose Tulane for his residency because of the attendings, the people, and the welcoming and supportive community he is a part of here. He finds New Orleans to be an ideal location due to its vibrant food scene and convenient location.
