Biography
Dr. Phillips is passionate about increasing access to care. She completed four years at the South Central Louisiana Human Services Authority (SCLHSA) Behavioral Health Center in Lafourche Parish before transitioning to Children's Hospital in New Orleans. There, she briefly oversaw the Consult Liaison service and subsequently moved to the inpatient Behavioral Health Unit. Dr. Phillips is interested in developmental psychopathology, particularly in the context of maltreatment, as well as behavioral strategies for families with young children. She also hopes to increase the practice of community- and strength-based approaches for those with more serious conduct problems.
