Robert N. Jones, MD

Dr Robert Jones earned his medical degree at Tulane. He interned at the University of Texas, San Antonio. After Navy service he returned to Charity Hospital, completing internal medicine training on the Tulane service.

He obtained pulmonary disease training at Tulane supported by an NIH training grant. He is board certified in internal medicine and pulmonary disease and is a member or fellow of the major professional societies in his field.

His research has involved the epidemiology of occupational and environmental lung diseases, and the methodology of their investigation. He is an Emeritus Professor of Medicine at Tulane.
