Research
My research interests include molecular pathways influencing neural plasticity with age, and how this results in vulnerability to psychiatric diseases. Specifically, we study how age-dependent epitranscriptomic changes affect miRNA targeting. Secondly, we study novel micro-peptides in normative brain function and in the susceptibility to schizophrenia and Alzheimer’s Disease.
