Melissa Horowitz is a bone marrow/stem cell transplant coordinator. Melissa assists in preparing patients to go through a stem cell transplant. As a coordinator, Melissa’s services include education regarding the process of transplant, scheduling of tests, treatments, and appointments, referrals to other support services, and general patient support. Melissa acts as a guide and informational resource throughout the transplant process, recognizing this can be a very difficult and overwhelming time.
