Julie Finger, MD
Assistant Professor of Clinical Pediatrics
Biography
Dr. Finger joined the Section of Adolescent Medicine in 2004. Currently an Assistant Professor of Clinical Pediatrics, she completed her pediatrics residency at Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio and then stayed on for a year of additional training in adolescent medicine. She is board certified in Pediatrics and earned her master's in public health from Tulane University. She works in several different adolescent clinics around New Orleans, and teaches residents and medical students. She loves working with teenagers and young adults and is passionate about providing them with quality healthcare. Dr. Finger also cares deeply about reproductive justice and is actively involved in local advocacy surrounding reproductive rights.
