Biography
Emma is a native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana who graduated from LSU in 2009 with a Bachelors of Science in Psychology with a minor in Biological Sciences. She worked as a clinical assistant for 2 years in Baton Rouge. She then continued her education at The University of Alabama at Birmingham where she received a Masters of Science in Physician Assistant Studies specializing in surgery. After graduation, Emma moved back to her home state to join the Tulane University department of Neurosurgery. She specializes in the care of adult neurosurgery patients. She is certified through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants, licensed through the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners, and is a member of the American Association of Neurosurgical Surgeons and American Association of Physician Assistants. Her current primary practice location is with Tulane’s Neurosurgery practice at East Jefferson General Hospital.
