Biography

Dr. Aguilar-Lopez earned his medical degree from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogota, Colombia.  He did his Internship, Residency and Chief Residency at Yale New Haven Hospital (St. Raphael campus). After completing his internal medicine training, he completed his fellowship at Norwalk/Yale New Haven Hospitals.

Dr. Aguilar-Lopez worked as an attending physician in Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester, MA, where he worked also as an Assistant Professor at  University of Massachusetts Medical School. His main clinical and research interests are Critical Care Medicine, COPD, asthma and interstitial lung disease.
   
Dr. Aguilar Lopez is board certified in Pulmonary Medicine, Critical Care Medicine and Internal Medicine. He is a fellow of the American College of Physicians. He is a member of the American College of Chest Physicians, the American Thoracic Society and Society of Critical Care Medicine.
