Many therapists have advanced degrees at the doctorate level and specialization certifications in orthopedics. Tulane-PT Solutions sports medicine clinicians regularly host student interns from University-based physical therapy training programs around the country that recognize our institution as a leader in physical therapy education.
Every patient that enters our specialized clinics will experience a comprehensive evaluation of muscle strength, endurance, power, and movement quality. Our Physical Therapists utilize a wide variety of manual therapy techniques including joint mobilizations, instrument assisted soft tissue manipulation and dry needling to restore function to the body, reduce pain, and help prevent future injury. They use evidence-based practice to guide their techniques, striving to find the most current tools to help get you back to your everyday life.
Physical therapy at Tulane-Pt Solutions Physical Therapy may also include treatment on our Alter-G (anti-gravity treadmill) to reduce joint impact and pain while rehabilitating from injury or surgery, or utilization of Biodex isokinetic testing and sport-specific movement assessments on Tulane’s sports turf field located outside of the Reily Center to provide conditioning and screening for return to sport.
