The Louisiana Center for Bleeding and Clotting Disorders is the only federally designated Hemophilia Treatment Center (HTC) for adults and children in Louisiana and the Gulf South. Located within the Tulane University School of Medicine, we hold clinics at University Medical Center – New Orleans, Lakeside – Metairie, Villas at Angel Point – Lafayette, and Alexandria. Our Center is dedicated to the care of patients and families affected by:

Specialized Diagnostic and Testing Services:

• In-depth hematologic evaluation and diagnostic services
• Family counseling and testing for inherited disorders
• Full-service laboratory testing available during out-patient visits
• Specialized testing by dedicated coagulation laboratories
• Ultrasound diagnosis of musculoskeletal bleeding
• Various point-of-care labs tests available with same-day results

The Louisiana Comprehensive Hemophilia Care Center

Established in 1980 for patients with inherited bleeding disorders,  serving pediatric and adult patients using a team approach for patients and their families
